A SUPERB CONDITION, FULL SIZE 51. SILVER PEARL FAUX JEWEL CAP TOP. ROLLED SILVER CAP – ROLLED GOLD ARROW CLIP. ORIGINAL PARKER 51 14K SOLID GOLD FINE to MEDIUM NIB. A VERY NICE NIB. Very nice to write with & Very smooth. CASED IN A NEAR MINT PARKER BOX. First introduced as an. In 1948 the first English made aero-metric 51s , produced at the Newhaven plant followed in 1949. Without doubt one of the most beautiful of the Parker pens ever made 51s are still being used with the same reliability and smooth writing as when first made, and are highly collectable. A FULLY WORKING, FULLY SERVICED 51 FOUNTAIN PEN IN SUPERB CONDITION. No cracks , personalisings or other damage. This rare ROLLED SILVER CAP, which is so often badly tarnished, is in better condition than most. Silver imprint is clear. A couple of very, very tiny indentations which are hard to spot, do not detract and are mentioned for accuracy. Uniform BURGUNDY colour, and superb surface condition. THE FOUNTAIN PEN BARREL. Nice shiny BURGUNDY RED. Breather hole on the barrel end. INSCRIBED – At the top of the barrel, under the clutch ring MADE IN ENGLAND 6. THE FOUNTAIN PEN CAP. Slip on – Smooth action. SUPER CONDITION – HORIZONTAL LINED ROLLED SILVER with a MIRROR BAND AND ROLLED GOLD ARROW CLIP. Topped with a beautiful plastic pearl jewel. MARKED AROUND THE BASE UNDER THE CLIP. MARKED AROUND THE BASE – REAR. THE NIB AND HOOD. Perfect shiny TEAL BLUE section and a superb hooded 51 14K SOLID GOLD nib, which writes with a SMOOTH FINE to MEDIUM line. THE BLACK ENDED, INNER FILLING SLEEVE. The pen writes and fills perfectly , and has been cleaned and flushed ready for use. THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL 51 IN A READY TO WRITE CONDITION.
