VINTAGE 1939 PARKER STREAMLINE VACUMATIC FOUNTAIN PEN! RESTORED & READY TO USE! The STAR CLIP was used in the first year of the SECOND GENERATION VACS. Parker wanted something different to denote the lifetime guarantee, so they chose the STAR. However, Parker decided that the STAR wasn’t snappy enough, so they went with the BLUE DIAMOND in the second year and thereafter. As such, these STAR CLIPS are rare. Add to that this is the STREAMLINE MODEL and in the LONG MAJOR variant and this pen is truly RARE! BROWN STRIPED with gold trim. It is in EXCELLENT condition. It has VERY GOOD transparency to determine the amount of ink in the pen. The pen is the “LONG” MAJOR model measuring 5 3/8 capped. I have installed a. The vacuum fill system works great, and the pen fills completely up. The CRISP imprint states “Geo S Parker”, “Parker Vacumatic”, “Made in USA”, and has a date code of “9” with one dot. The nib is FINE is size and has the arrow design and states “Parker, USA, 9″ making it a PERFECT MATCH for the date code on the barrel. The clip of the pen is the standard gold arrow and feather with “Parker” written down the middle and has a STAR top and center. The cap is topped with a perfect BROWN STRIPED jewel.
