Here is your chance to own a true Parker 51 Demonstrator fountain pen! This is an authentic Parker 51 and not a reproduction. All correct Parker 51 parts and correct Parker 51 imprint near the clutch ring. This pen has been completely restored. Restoration includes: full disassembly and cleaning of the pen, a new diaphragm of the correct size has been installed. Pen has been tested to ensure correct and proper filling with the Vacumatic system. Pen works as it should. It is common to find these 51 Demonstrators with hairline cracks at the threads of the filler end and on the hood. This pen is free from any hairline or stress cracks. It is in EXCELLENT condition. A gorgeous Lustraloy cap sits atop this gem. Free from any dents or dings. Gold filled clip has been cleaned and polished. The blue diamond has been redone and filled to the correct color Parker used. Through the transparent hood you can see a nice collector with all the fins intact. None are broke, cracked or missing. Inside of that you will find a smooth writing Parker 51 nib. Nib writes a smooth medium line with no skipping or hard starts. Overall this pen is in excellent condition. The barrel does have some signs of blue ink in it. Unfortunately, whatever blue this is has appeared to stain some of the spots it is still present.
