Here is a Parker 51 fountain pen in one of the hardest to find colors of the 51, Nassau Green. This model features the Vacumatic filling system, which has been completely restored to working condition. This pen does have some issues. The hood has quite a few deep tool marks near the clutch ring. Some have been smoothed and repaired, while others are still visible. The next issue is the barrel, somewhere along the line the barrel cracked near the filler end. You can see the line of the crack, it has been glued, sealed and polished, but you can still see the line. The sterling silver cap isn’t perfect. Has some playing loss, some dents and dings. Cap goes perfect with the wear found on the pen. If you are looking for a nice everyday writing Parker 51 in a hard to find color this is the pen for you. I have recently acquired a cleaner example for my collection, so this “user grade” is for sale. Front end of the pen has been disassembled and cleaned. 14k Parker 51 nib, appears to be a fine point.
