This is a vintage 1948 Parker Parker 51 Fountain Pen and pencil set with its original box. The pen is approx 5.1/8 in length and has a 1/10 12K gold filled Cap and Plum colored barrel. The pen has a Parker 14k gold hooded MED-FINE nib that is in good intact condition with no damage and both iridiums intact No cracks on the barrel. The GF cap is in very good condition with NO dings or dents. The pearl cap jewel is intact and free of any chips or nicks. The pen is an aerometric filler with the early style long aluminum tube. The pen shows a few light scratches. The pen will need a complete refurbishment before use. The matching propel style mechanical pencil is also in very good condition and extends with no issues. The pen has the Parker date code of “8” that is easily read. A very nice 51 set. The only issue with the set is that both the pen and pencil have the name” Veronica Sullivan” engraved on the barrels. (The pics don’t do a great job showing the Plum color, but I assure you the set is PLUM in color) the original Parker 51 box is in good intact condition with no damage.
