Alternative finish Model 25 Fountain Pen. Please enlarge all 12 photos & read all the text for detail. As requested I added new photos 2 showing the pen ends clearer than my first photo of the ends (which is still there). This Pen : Parker 25 Fountain Pen – Pen is in Mint condition – Un-inked as far as I can tell. With a tag on the clip, marked “PROTO” (this may be the only example of this finish on a 25 in existence). Nib & Section ; Medium point, stainless steel nib, shows no use. Section is glossy black. (there is no ink converter). Pocket Clip ;- Clip is approx 40mm long, stainless steel w/ Parker logo. Finish ; – Black with GOLD with a clear coat – I believe this was just a test sample or experimental (prototype) finish – the finish almost looks like the finish on some high end Japanese pens. Markings ; – as seems common with some prototypes, there are no factory markings on the cap or barrel, the only markings are on the nib & clip. Size ; 5 & 5/8″ posted & 5 & 3/16″ capped.
