Circa late teens or 1920 (ish) Parker Fountain Pen – Very beautiful condition, The filler is restored to working with a new pressure bar & ink sac. The gold fill is stunning – This a Metal Body, Metal Blind Cap & Metal Cap, No brassing, the only hard rubber parts are the inner cap & the inner section & feed , and just one tiny neat ding, see photo #7, there is access inside should you want a jeweler to repair the ding, but I think it is not very detracting, the ding is on the bottom lower, so it does not show most of the time when on display or handled – also there is NO personal engraving, and again, I see no brassing, the pen’s ends look excellent, remarkably well preserved pen. The section has a perfect gold filled overlay, like new, no corrosion at all. The feed was ultrasonically cleaned , the Curve of the “Lucky Curve” feed is intact. The nib is a beautiful #2 Lucky curve, (see detailed photos), The nib is a semi flex with very good iridium tipping, medium point, flexing to 1.1mm max, I would stay at 1.0mm or below for nib preservation. The cap threads on & posts very well, the blind cap also threads on very well , the button filler works well, The pen has a good pressure bar unit & a brand new quality quality ink sac just installed- The pen fills with ink as it should. The pen has very nice factory markings, marked “PARKER FOUNTAIN PEN – GOLD FILLED – PATENTED”. 4 & 3/8″ capped , and 5 & 7/16″ posted, the fixed loop included in the measurement.
