Vintage 1930’s Restored Parker Duofold Fountain Pen. Measures 4 15/32 long closed, black and pearl Streamline Duofold Deluxe Jr. Semi-flex fine point nib reads: PARKER DUOFOLD PEN B, barrel reads: GEO. PARKER DUOFOLD MADE IN U. PATENTED, clip reads: PAT. 5 16 PARKER, metal push-button filling mechanism. This pen was thoroughly cleaned, was micro-meshed, buffed and polished, new ink sac was coated in talcum powder and installed with shellac, has original metal straight bar, nib and feed channels were scraped clean, the nib tip was shaped and polished to ensure smooth writing, and pen has been flushed with water. In excellent condition, excellent plating with only wear to the usual top of clip ball, three very tiny dings to cap bands, excellent cap color with a barrel that looks better than most, excellent plastic and hard rubber. Please view the writing sample done on printer paper. This fine point nib writes a smooth fine line, and has rather small semi-flex to it, as displayed in writing sample.
