A beautiful rare vintage Parker 51 Aerometric’Made in Canada’ set in rich burgundy color with case. Marks are indicative of a 1950 date, and the set is in good condition. The pen and pencil caps are both marked with’PARKER 1/1012K GOLDFILLED’. The barrel of the pencil is marked’MADE IN CANADA’ followed by’50’ and what appears to be a dot and a vertical line all in smaller text which is the 1950 date code, and the barrel of the pen is marked’MADE IN CANADA’ followed by what appears to be an underlined’0′ in smaller text. The Aerometric cartridge appears original as it has the factory Canadian script; the sac is still very flexible. Both are engraved in gold with’Ruby Ward’. Both caps have the’gray jewel’ ends. The curved clamshell case measures 6.3 inches long and is in good condition with’Parker 51′ on the interior fabric and’51’ on the case lid. This set has only been lightly cleaned; full cleaning is an option for the next owner/collector, I have not repaired or replaced any parts on this very collectible Parker 51 set.
