For your consideration is this Vintage Parker 61–Insignia Writing Instrument Set–Fountain Pen and Mechanical Pencil. See Full Description Below (See Pictures). 1 EACH—PARKER 61 INSIGNIA (1/10 12KT GOLD FILLED BARRELS AND CAPS) FOUNTAIN PEN AND MECHANICAL PENCIL SET–IN THE ORIGINAL BOX. This set is from The Mid-Century–1961/1962, but still looks good. The Box is in Good Vintage-Condition with a small Ink Mark on the Top-Inside Lid. The ends of the caps feature the Parker Jewels. The fountain pen does not have ink in it and does not write at this time, and there is no lead in the mechanical pencil. The end of the pencil can be removed to reveal an eraser. This Pen uses the Parker 61 Instant Ink–Super Quink Ink Cartridge–(1 Cartridge Included)–See Description Below. 1 EACH PARKER 61 INSTANT INK CARTRIDGE. The Parker Instant Ink is a Super Quink Ink concentrate for use with the Parker 61. The idea was to plug the Instant Ink cartridge onto the end of the capillary filler, dunk in water, let it mix with the ink and feed into the pen. Ink cartridge is still sealed in the original package. I do not know if the ink concentrate is still usable, but Ill leave that for you to try–if you decide to do so! These Instant Ink Cartridges are Very Hard to Find (See Pictures). These writing instruments look to be fully operational; however, since I do not want to open the enclosed Parker 61 Instant Ink Cartridge—and the fact that I do not have any pencil lead to test the Mechanical Pencil—I feel compelled to SELL THIS SET AS I FOUND IT–AND–AS IS —but, I feel confident that you will not be disappointed.
