For Sale – Superb Quality Vintage Solid Hm’d 9ct Gold Parker 61 Presidential Engine Turned Ballpoint Pen In An Original Vintage Black Plastic & Red Satin Parker Box with a Modern Brand New Unused Black Leather Parker Pen Slip Case Included. Pen is fully 9.375 gold hallmarked for London 1971 with makers mark PPCo (Parker Pen Co). Also hallmarked 9.375 to collar and top rim of clip. Measures 12.6cm long x 9mm at widest point and weighs 18.5grams with ink refill & spring and 14.4grams without them. Brand new Parker fine black ink refill & new spring fitted by a Glasgow pen store in November 2018. Overall the pen is in lovely clean working condition however please note that the case does have a small shallow elongated indent in the top half just above the collar as shown & a pinhead sized ding in the bottom half. The hematite stone set into the top is a bit worn and could do with being replaced and, lastly, as with all vintage mechanical items, I would recommend that the pen would probably benefit from a service. The rectangular cartouche is vacant and has never been inscribed. Please Note – This is a pre-owned vintage item and may have some normal age related wear.
