“Royal” Challenger – 1937. Please enlarge all 12 photos & read all the text for detail. It is in very good condition, Very straight clean pen, No Cracks, No chips, No personal engravings, The cap lip is perfect – the cap threads on to the pen securely & tightly, as does the blind cap. Tight clip & band, there is brassing on the washer of the clip and the clip shoulders, the sword has a little wear, but looks very good, the cap band is excellent- The pen’s color is vivid pearl red & black, Double Jewel Pen. The black top and bottom jewels look excellent – The pen has an excellent shiny finish, no heavy scratches, some micro wear, it is well preserved and quite attractive, it will display very well. The imprint is very clear “Parker “Royal” Challenger” date code “27” (1937). Very nice Parker 14K Nib, the nib is a fine point, Not a flex nib, just a tiny bit of line variation can be coaxed from it. But again, not a flex nib. Nice smooth writer the writing sample shown was made by actually filling the pen with ink & writing with it- the writing sample will come with the pen. I HAVE OTHER PENS LISTED.
