Superb Vintage Parker 75 Brown Thuya Laque Fountain Pen Trio Set, Box 1984 MINT. This is a Trio set of fountain pen, ballpoint pen and pencil in brown Thuya Laque from the lacquer. Collection introduced in 1981. This set dates to 1984. This set is in superb condition! This is a trio set in Brown Thuya Laque finish. I would guess that they have hardly ever been used. The bodies are unmarked with no scuffs or scratches. They have “Parker Made in France” on the cap bands. The date codes are II on the fountain pen (Q4 1984), IE on the ballpoint (Q1 1984) and TE on the pencil (Q1 1985). The fountain pen nib section is perfect. The nib is gold size medium and looks to be in perfect condition. It is marked 585. The fountain pen can use either cartridges or the converter filler supplied. Dip tested and writes beautifully. All Gold trim is in perfect condition with no tarnish or marks. Clips are a nice firm fit and properly aligned. The pencil is fitted with lead and an unused rubber. The mechanism works perfectly. The ballpoint has a new medium blue Parker refill. Supplied in the original Parker box which is in excellent condition and comes in its original carboard sleeve. This is a particularly fine example in lovely condition of a very collectable and usable pen set. Please note that the Waterman display stand is not included.
