Vintage Parker 51 Navy Grey Fountain Pen /Pencil Set, Lustraloy Caps, Box Ex Cond. Parker 51 pen set with very desirable Navy Grey bodies, Lustraloy caps and chrome trim. Generally excellent cosmetic condition except as noted. Navy Grey bodies, Lustraloy caps and grey jewels. The caps are in good condition with only a couple of tiny dings and just some faint scuff marks. The fountain pen nib section is excellent. The nib is gold and looks to be in perfect condition. It is fitted with a press bar ink filler which is working properly. Tested and writing nicely (see photo of writing example). All pens are stamped “Parker” on the caps and “Made in England” on the bodies. All chrome trim is in excellent condition. Clips are a nice firm fit and properly aligned. The pencil is a repeater and contains lead and a worn rubber. The nib has been flushed out and the pens given a light hand polish. Supplied in the original Parker box which is in excellent condition apart from some foxing on the satin lining. Measures approx 13.7 cm. This is a particularly fine example in nice condition of a very collectable and usable pen set. Please note that the Waterman display stand is not included.
