Beautiful vintage parker Vacumatic fountain pen in burgundy red pearl. This is a full size, standard pen with the lockdown pump filler and double jewels. Pen measures 5 3/16″ capped from jewel tip to jewel tip (and around 5″ from tassie to tassie). Pen has been fully restored with a new sac and lightly polished. Fills and writes great! Gold filled portions have some light brassing around a few of the high points / edges. Light surface wear is seen throughout on the celluloid portions, but there are no cracks, chips, personalizations or gouges on the cap or barrel. Barrel imprint is almost completely gone and only a few letters / portions are visible. Section and barrel jewel are black, and cap jewel is burgundy striped; striped cap jewel has a very small chip on one side (see pictures). Clip tassie has a Reg. Number on the backside, suggesting this pen was made for a foreign market. Parker Vacumatic 14K nib is a ground stub and a very nice writer – see writing sample! Nib is most likely a replacement, as I don’t think the date code matches the barrel. This is overall a very rare pen in great working condition. Would make a great daily writer!
