VINTAGE 1938 PARKER VACUMATIC STANDARD REVERSE TRIM SILVER GF FOUNTAIN PEN 14K M. This listing is for a vintage 1938 Parker Vacumatic “Standard” fountain pen in Silver Pearl celluloid with gold filled trim (referred to as “reverse trim”) and a medium 14k gold nib. Overall, I would grade this pen in fair to good condition. The majority of the wear and flawing of this pen is located on the cap. Cap lip is cracked, gold filled cap bands have brassing and are loose. Scratches and tooth marks to the surface of the cap. The rest of the pen appears much cleaner. Pen measures approximately 5-1/16 capped from end of jewel to end of jewel. 14k gold Parker Vacumatic nib. Nib is in good shape with good tipping and straight tines. Vacumatic filler locks and unlocks as it should. Good factory imprint on the barrel. Showing light wear but mostly intact. No names or initials engraved anywhere on the pen.
